Hey,
I guess I'm joining the chorus in saying I'm looking for work. I'm willing to consider a lot, so if you're looking for a worker anywhere around Columbus, please e-mail me.
I just graduated from OSU's Social Studies and Global Education M.Ed. program. When I decided to go that route, I decided I had to be willing to move out of state. With everything falling apart around us though, I'm trying to stay close to family.
In addition to the M.Ed., I graduated with a degree in political science and minors in physics and geography (the latter was required, the former something I highly considered majoring in). I know that's a bit of an odd combination, but I've always been attracted to both the social sciences and mathematics. I've worked a lot with kids at quite a few levels through OSU Childcare Center, volunteer tutoring, student teaching, and working with my 4 younger my siblings.
While not at the level of many on this site, I do have some technical skills. I've run 2 HTML based websites, one for a student group and another personally created one for the original COSI in Columbus (http://oldcosi.110mb.com/). I’ve worked with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, online databases, etc. as well.
If you want any more information, just e-mail and I'll send it. Thank you.
