Hyperinflation is a term that gets thrown around a lot on this board and yet, as far as I can tell, there is no universal definition of the term. "You'll know it when you see it" doesn't quite work for me.

So I am curious, when you use the term hyperinflation, where is the threshold that divides very high "regular" inflation and hyperinflation?

It's defined as 100% in a single year IIRC.

I've seen 100% in 1 year. I've seen 100% (total) over 3 years (so roughly 26% annualized over 3 years). I've seen 50% inflation/month.

That's why I started the poll - I want to see what people mean when they say hyperinflation, because I suspect that we all have somewhat different definitions, and in some cases, dramatic differences.

You pretty much need prices to go exponential.
Things need to be on monthly, weekly, even daily terms for hyperinflation.

Anything else is just really really bad inflation, with the chance hyperinflation is just around the corner.
