Nice ticker write up. Note that I am able to read the ticker Friday Update with no problem at all.

For how long can these bastards Ben, Paulson & their bastards buddies continue this total disgusting, insane, unlawful, unethical, immoral, criminal-type manipulation of the market.

A COT guru (my reliable sources, no further info will be provided, except for KD) that I follow is expecting the market to start selling off big time in Nov 2007.

It looks like today the bastards created a humungous short squeeze in financial sector. Look at ML & CFC. I think they are moving the market by creating rotating sector short squeezes.

If you look at AAPL and energy sector, they did not move up much - the primer pumper for SnP cash for Q2/early Q3.

I think that it would be a good idea to start building up new short positions in the first week of Nov 2007 after these bastards do a rate cut and the employment report is out. That's how I am thinking of playing the market now. Till then I will stay on sideline except for my long term core positions.

Does the Treasury/Fed ever talk to the exchanges about trading rule changes?

Maybe rule changes happen more often than I understand, but I find it strange that the short-sale uptick rule was dropped and now the NYSE is dropping program-trading curbs. If the PTB understand the problem more than they're saying (which I have to believe is the case), it sounds like they want to increase the ability to profit on the downside.

What if the "solution" to the mortgage/CDO wealth destruction is by providing the ability to short the **** out the markets even more than previously allowed -- especially if the markets are going to crash anyway? It's a larger version of the GS profit plan.

I wonder if profiting in that regard would provide enough cash flow to stem insolvency once the SIVs come back on the B/S. The order of magnitude is probably off, but the data points are making me suspicious.

ANd that, dear friends, is the answer. So you do anything you need to do, break all laws and common decency, threaten the safety of your banks, to make sure you can expand credit and hide the losses.

But what are they worth? If Option ARMs, the answer is: ZERO, or very nearly so.

Chris Laird of Prudent Squirrel says that the new Fed does "shock and awe" campaigns...preferring .5% rate cuts, or any other surprises. I'm thinking back to discount rate cut, and the options expiration day deal that the traders got so upset over.

For me, as a regular person, non-trader, I just shake my head at the rising gap between the economy and the stock market. Rallying on bad news - a sure sign of a market top, in my opinion.

The 'accelerating' events should be interesting to watch as they catch fire. Timing is always the issue. Can these bastards inflate ANY OTHER ASSET CLASS? I don't think so. I thing the jig is up. And I think we're gonna see it come unglued pretty soon.
