Hmm, preliminary results indicate the bitter, old, 50-59 group in the lead.
Following closely is the fresh out of college and can't find a job in this crappy economy, 20-29 group.
Come, huddle together under the TF big tent. There's room for all.

38.

I spent my teens-twenties traveling Europe, North Africa and Central America. I decided to settle down some in my late 20s in Austin and get a degree from UT which wound up not being much different from my previous life besides the tests/classes I had to spend time in. UT does have some nice resources which put me where I am now. Even though I make double the the median household income in the USA, I can walk out of my front door in 30 minutes with nothing more than a backpack with necessities (no money) and be on my way. This BS you see here in America is such a ****ing joke.

22.

NOBODY in my age group fully understands our economic horizon, and has any clue of the simplest of concepts that governments sells bonds as debt. (Even a couple of PhD students from Univ of Reading!)

They also like to blame the global economic recession on the "media".

However, all agree that we will never get a pension/retirement payments from the govt when we retire.

How this was allowed to occur is unclear.

I have been surprised so far by the age spread on the forum.... does not bode well for the future of our country.

When I was a kid it wasn't uncommon for teens to buy a stock or two and watch their progress in the paper every day.

if u referring to the lack of young people, that is no surprise to me, most college age kids are too busy partying it up, chasing tail, downloading music, practicing with their dance crew, playing the fiddle with their emo tunes, etc..
