It now is for monetary theory, economic theory and political theory.

That is, if you want to start a debate about Libertarianism, this is the place for it. Ditto for economic and monetary theories (e.g. various forms of targeting inflation, money supply theorems, etc.)

The following rules will be strictly enforced in this area:

• The "Threadban" feature is enabled. A topic-starter can bar anyone from further posting on a topic they originate. All rules on the Threadban feature's use will be vigorously enforced.
  
  
• "Drive bys" are not allowed. If you comment on someone's posting you must be prepared to back up your position.
  
  
• ANY sort of personal attack, "gotcha" garbage or similar is forbidden in this area.

The rules of polite discourse will be strictly enforced. If you don't know what that means, or can't control yourself, don't post. Violators will not be warned, they will receive strikes (see the FAQ if you need to understand them), not just restrictions from posting here, and their "contributions" will be bilged.

This is an area for serious intellectual discussion and debate - far more so than the rest of Tickerforum. Those who are not up to it are, of course, welcome to peruse the area, but in terms of posting all participants will be held to a standard suitable for "polite society" or better - with no exceptions.
