Those transfer payments make people dependent upon government and disincentivize them to save (form capital), work and make prudent decisions.

Defund transfer payments and people will save, work, and be prudent, which is to say rely upon their own merits rather than the excess effort of others.

The entire unwed mother culture is socially liberal and is propagated by transfer payments, rejecting of social customs, and general personal responsibility. This is a viscious self-feeding phenomenon that results in the need for huge amounts of money to keep it from fully blowing up in the faces of those that practice it.
