No. That's why the true "fiscal conservative" would defund the programs designed to amelioriate the consequences of that mindset and allow the full brunt of his decisions to visit upon them, while sparing those of us that comport our behavior in some semblance of social responsibility.

The Left believes that "social responsibility" is to remove the obvious consequences of your actions at the expense of someone else who acts in a socially responsible manner.

If that doesn't link "socially liberal" with "fiscally irresponsible" then I don't know what does.
