No, Obama is not going to pay for your mortgage. They are trying to hold the banks feet to the fire on the securities in their pension funds.

Yes, Fannie and Freddie are ABSOLUTELY part of it.

We know this because of the FCIC hearings where their regulator said THEY HAVE HAD TO SUBPOENA FOR FILES because the banks are stiff-arming them (for files THEY SHOULD ALREADY ****ING HAVE!)

I'm hesitant to add my name and info to a union website. God knows what they will do with the information and I have no way to know if they are even forwarding it to my lender or not. Could be a scam for all I know. Their site isn't even https...

The letter should be sent certified, anyway. Copy their boilerplate, customize accordingly.

I think SEIU has it ASS backwards. They are rallying their troops (and others) to essentially see if the enquirer has recourse to a "free home."

This is the SEIU, inventors of the phrase "Muscle for Money" (look it up).

This is more of the same. They are pushing this in order to get a payoff for stopping it. That payoff is going to be a full taxpayer bailout of their bloated, unsustainable pensions.

This game has been played so many times by now it's cliche.

Man I hope people aren't giving their information to SEIU which is riddled with corruption, money laundering, and fraud - no better than the banks. There are better ways to request docs...
