Finally trapped my SO into taking the test. Since she's crippled right now she didn't have any choice!! (hehe)

ISFJ

Not any votes in the poll for that type either, although they make up 9-16% (wiki) of the population.

This is fascinating - I've never seen so many INTJs in one spot before!

The internets are skewed toward I and T types anyway. Also more Ns online - the S's are too busy doing chores while we're surfing LOL.

LQ: That's exactly what I've been thinking. It's wild. 51% so far INTJ.

They represent like 2.5% of the population (IIRC), it's unreal that we've all gathering up like this in one spot.

I got my brother and his wife to take the test tonight. My brother is also an INTJ, same as me, but he is more introverted than me while I'm more judging (a planner). We both scored a 1 in Thinking (just one point away from being an INFJ). His wife is an INFJ, which is even more rare than INTJs.

I'm going to try and get my sister to do it tomorrow.

Damn, this thing is pretty good... reads a little bit like a horoscope with all the patting on the back, but in a nutshell, I have to say it has an accureate portrail of me at the core. I need to test some friends. smiley

------------

ENFJs are the benevolent 'pedagogues' of humanity. They have tremendous charisma by which many are drawn into their nurturant tutelage and/or grand schemes. Many ENFJs have tremendous power to manipulate others with their phenomenal interpersonal skills and unique salesmanship. But it's usually not meant as manipulation -- ENFJs generally believe in their dreams, and see themselves as helpers and enablers, which they usually are.

ENFJs are global learners. They see the big picture. The ENFJs focus is expansive. Some can juggle an amazing number of responsibilities or projects simultaneously. Many ENFJs have tremendous entrepreneurial ability.

ENFJs are, by definition, Js, with whom we associate organization and decisiveness. But they don't resemble the SJs or even the NTJs in organization of the environment nor occasional recalcitrance. ENFJs are organized in the arena of interpersonal affairs. Their offices may or may not be cluttered, but their conclusions (reached through feelings) about people and motives are drawn much more quickly and are more resilient than those of their NFP counterparts.

ENFJs know and appreciate people. Like most NFs, (and Feelers in general), they are apt to neglect themselves and their own needs for the needs of others. They have thinner psychological boundaries than most, and are at risk for being hurt or even abused by less sensitive people. ENFJs often take on more of the burdens of others than they can bear.

INTJ here, too. 78 25 44 56. I took the test for the first time when I was in my mid-20's with the same result. I don't remember what the strength of preferences were back then, though, but I'm guessing that the Introvert strength has gone up significantly over the last 30 years! I'm also a woman, and have always felt like a fish out of water. I'm much more comfortable being with my small circle of family and friends, or by myself, than in a group. Small talk and a lot of the typical social dynamics of groups exhausts and bores me.

There is such a disproportionately large number of INTJs here that we should find an alternate name for tickerforum so that the personality type and the forum can share the same acronym.

The "feeling/thinking" scale, where you are strongly "feeling" means that you use your value system and make decisions based on whether something is right or wrong, not cold, hard, calculated logic. The "judgmental" name is a misnomer in my opinion, it should be "organized" or "planning".

My sister just took the test and she is an INFJ, same as my sister-in-law. So we are all INTJs and INFJs. That honestly seems like a bit much of a statistical stretch to be true.

INTJ, on this forum that doesn't seem so special.

We, in the ages lying, In the buried past of the earth,
Built Nineveh with our sighing, And Babel itself with our mirth;
And o'erthrew them with prophesying, To the old of the new world's worth
Each age is a dream that is dying, Or one that is coming to birth.
