INTJ, and the only 100 to be found was on the "T".

I am starting to get jealous here. I got an F instead of T. Everyone is getting T's and Karl just aced his T's.

Come on man, someone throw some implicit differentiation my way, I can do it I swear, it s been a while, but I can prove it to you guys, LOL.

The F doesn't feel that good in this place.

...but considering, my personal tin is that I feel we all have access to every moment that has ever happened with our subconscious mind. In a lot of ways, I think that feelings and gut reactions are superior to sheer intelligence. That is not to say that when I do my work, or embark on a project I approach it with feelings, no I work, that is why it feels like work.

It's just that I have seen things and had experiences that can not be explained by thoughts alone. In many ways, I feel that ego and over thinking, separate us from a global network that is at our hands at any given moment. Again, all of it is tin, but tin that is close to my heart.

How do you explain predictive dreams, seeing future events, being someone completely different in that dream... so much so that you look in a mirror, and you are a different race, different looks, and in that dream nothing strikes you as being out of the ordinary. Than you wake up, and are like WTF? I don't know where some of this data comes from, and the subconscious mind has me fascinated to no ends... especially intuition, and remote viewing. The basis, for teaching a fast twitch reaction to events is quite brilliant.

I think I am just digging that “F” trench some more, LOL.

I'm a recovered T, turned F for same reasons.....too many things that defied logic/linear thinking, and too many 'miraculous' or coincidental occurrences....nonetheless, I appreciate the T's (and my former T-mind) that can be called upon for functioning at this level.....

I just did a little research and discovered that INTJ is the rarest personality in women. INTJs make up 2.5% of the male population and only .5% of the female population.
I have always related better to men than women. No doubt it is because INTJ is a 'male' type personality.

No wonder I have no friends! Most women are "F" by nature (feeling vs. Thinking).

Never seen so many INTJ's! ha ha

I remember taking this test back in 7th grade and I was INTJ. Than I took it again when I was 23 and got the same result.

Any INTJs out there who find themselves obsessed with "big picture" perspective? I'm always trying to connect the dots and see the trends and their implications. I'm also obsessed with maps of all kinds. I sit and study the thick road atlas when we go on car trips. Part of that is enjoying the big picture perspective and part of that is the planner in me!

Edit: just took the test again, and sure enough: INTJ

Wow, I'm an introvered freak of nature! Believe me, I wish I could change my introverted side and be more outgoing. Outgoing, people skills are what gets you ahead in the business world, way over "brains" that's for sure. Bummer for us smart but quiet folks. (who aren't math/ computer whizzes)

Just to note....that site for the test is not official, and I would venture to say, pretty 'soft'. The other sites for M-B testing are quite clear that online tests are insufficient analysis.
I'd be inclined to say that the humanetics test is worded with a bit of a slant.
But what do I know? Now I'm a ENTJ, from an INFP!! Go figure.

I'm pretty evenly divided between ENTP and INTP. Sometimes I'll come out as an "E", sometimes an "I". The NTP has stayed over a number of years, however.

OMG, you and I could so be friends!! Although, I'm also the type who says "hey! There's a road! Let's see where it goes!!"

In regards to T vs. F, I was like 1% on T, so apparently I'm pretty evenly balanced between the two. While I can (and do) overthink things, there's also a side to me that is very spontaneous (usually the side that gets me in trouble, but also the side that has a lot of fun.) I'm also deeply sympathetic towards people, even if they're the type that are just victim to their own stupidity, I still feel bad that they're that stupid.

Built Nineveh with our sighing, And Babel itself with our mirth;

^^^ The best adventure I ever had was a 2 week road trip from Fairbanks, AK to Orlando, FL with my brother in his beat up 1988 Jeep Cherokee. I accidentally left the road atlas on the front desk of the motel in WA state, so for 90% of the trip, we were free as a bird (no maps or anything and we just winged it). We also took a great trip to Japan without even a single motel reservation or any idea of where we were going or what we would do. That was fun for 12 days. (carried everything in backpacks)

Side note: Am I the only one who doesn't own some kind of computer navigation device? Just read the darn road atlas people and follow the signs. It's more fun that way.

I could just sit around a "read" a road atlas for hours. Great way to learn about things. I could tell you where pretty much any town (and county) in FL or GA is. I have to know things like that or I feel stupid living there.

Notice all my posts are usually about 2 sentences long. That's generally all I care to say to anyone before I feel the need to split. It's rare someone keeps my attention for longer than about 75 words.

Same here, Erica, with maps. Astounded on recent trip 'outside' (meaning lower 48 and all) that maps were hard to find at gas stations, as everyone has those electronic things.
I adore maps, and love being navigator.

And rarely have much to say....unless one finds the 'key' and gets me in my recessive E mode.

I actually think (ok, feel) that many people are becoming more introverted as the stress is perceived in the system. we are all pulling in a bit more....kind of the duck and cover mechanism.

I just bought a map of FL today for our 3 hour drive to Jacksonville. I love to unfold it and study the entire state from a bird's eye view. You can't do that with GPS. The only time GPS is useful is if you are house hunting. We borrowed one from my parents and I used it to type in street addresses so we could find houses to drive by.

You can if your GPS is a smartphone running Google Maps.

INTJ here as well.

I don't do small talk. Why bother?
Damn near the only enjoyment I get dealing with co-workers, etc, is having the best sarcastic comments in the room.....but it isn't much of a payoff...

Kinda hard to make or have friends when all you hear is fluff and white noise, and it isn't even worth it to pretend otherwise.

No wonder I like this place~

Female INTJ on the Humanmetrics site recommended here, although upon reading the profile for a INTP I think I'm one of those. Also a visual learner, and studied/make fine art. Perhaps the J is absorbed from proximity to Ticker Forum?

ISTJ here. Have taken several different tests and they all come out ISTJ. I guess it explains how I'm 'attracted' to TF, yet remain on the outside looking in. I'm definitely the Duty Fulfiller. I get up and go to the same job I've had for 26 years, stay married to the same wife of 22 years, and live in the same place for all my life. I work in IT which is very systematic, procedural, checklist type of work. My day is an itemized checklist of things that must be checked off one-by-one, so that at the end of the day, if I get a list completely checked off, I'm feelin' real good about it. Part of my personality is that I'm extremely attracted to freakish people. I like to hang in the background and watch the freaks do their thing out in the open. Always been that way, and love it.
