Single White Norway Psychopath Killer: Anders Behring Breivik, 32, Nationalist, Hates Islam

Perhaps it is time for the Telegraph to issue a retraction to its kneejerk publication in which it automatically cast blame on Islamists and other "eastern" terrorists-by-default. Because according to just released info, they could not have been more wrong, and it is the reaction to precisely this type of prejudice that will never facilitate bridging frayed relations between disparate cultures. Anyway, so much for prejudiced speculation and/or lies about some Islamist organization taking the blame for the events in Norway today. Here is the truth:" VG has received confirmation from several independent sources that it was Anders Behring Breivik, who was arrested by armed police after the mass killings of Utøya Friday. VG was also present when the emergency squad took action against the flat 32-year-old susceptible west of Oslo. Several foreign media have also named Breivik as the perpetrator." More on his motives: "A childhood friend of Breivik says to VG Nett that he should have been right-wing in the late 20's, and posted a series of controversial opinions on Facebook." And the kicker, for all the bigots out there: he was an ultra nationalist who hated Islam. Today's tragic events were merely the outburst of deranged and very much troubled Loughner, McVey-like psychophath. And nothing more.

A picture of the accused:

And more:

In online debates he makes his mark as a well-read, and one with strong opinions about Norwegian politics. He promotes a very conservative opinions, which he also called nationalist. He expresses himself strongly opposed to multiculturalism - that cultural differences can live together in a community.

He has had many posts on the site Document.no, an Islam-critical site that publishes news and commentary.

In one of the posts he states that politics today no longer revolves around socialism against capitalism, but that the fight is between nationalism and internationalism. He expressed clear support for the nationalist mindset.

He also commented on the Swedish news articles, where he makes it clear that he believes the media have failed by not being "NOK" Islam-critical.

There is more in the full article here but the gist is clear: this is a case where blaming Islamist or Jihadist jingoism is about as far from the truth as possible.

The story I've garnered about the last pic that I posted above is that it is a screen capture that someone made of the online live BBC feed being shot from a helicopter that first arrived on the scene. It's the same live BBC feed that has been ongoing all day online.

I don't have any other info yet about the pic above though.

Or it could be that people will occasionally snap from watching their thousand-year-old culture systematically eradicated by the betrayal of their own leaders.

Icanhasbailout: Because these islamic terrorist organisations are far less powerful than commonly assumed? Because some of them are in fact only inventions used to justify a couple of quintillion spent on the "war OF terror", armaments manufacturers, mercenary outfits, regular army/navy/air force units, "intelligence" agencies, counter-terrorism task forces (blah blah), and so on. A lof of mouths to feed and pockets to line.

And the wonderful taxpayer gets to pay for this. For his/her own safety of course.

To own a gun in Norway, one must document a use for the gun. By far, the most common grounds for civilian ownership are hunting and sports shooting, in that order. Other needs can include special guard duties or self defense, but the first is rare and the second is practically never accepted as a reason for gun ownership.

Ooops!

I know the Swedes can own semi-auto rifles, supressors and the like for sport shooting, but they are registered and whatnot. I've conversed with them and seen them.

Not sure about the Finns. Not sure about the Norse either.

Edit: And I'm not aware of any European country that has personal concealed carry like we do in 37 US states.

He knew once on the island there was no escape for the people he blamed for all HIS problems. The water would have been painfully cold to swim.

Norway does not have a death penalty to my knowledge. Might be time to change that.

The worst day of my life.
By Kamzy | 23 July 2011 | pink blog-ish

I'm still in shock. Just came home. We were driven by Prableen his father from Sundvollen hotel.

I'm actually still in shock. I can not squeeze out one tear. I can not believe it: The day I actually to be killed. Hunted and killed.

What can I say? The last normal idea I had in my head was about a student organization in the AUF. I had just been on the political workshop (for that is what we are doing on Utøya) - and was on his way up to the AUF-shop where I had actually watch.

A good friend came over and informed me about the explosion that had taken place in Oslo. Sick! Ministries and Youngstorget?! Of course there were many who were worried. The mood was mildly, not good, many thought this was vermin worst moments this year, but it happened more. I had a lump in the throat. The largest ever.

We were first called to infomøte by management so that everyone received the same (and correct) information. This meeting was useful and worked well. Most got their family members in Oslo and had checked that everyone was alive.

I could not get hold of someone in the family for very long! When I finally got confirmation that three of them were not in Oslo, and one was at work far away from the center - then I could breathe. Really. I went back to the AUF-shop.

General Secretary Helen Brenna came over and talked to me. Wondered if I needed someone to talk to. Then we heard shots down the ground. Who the hell is it that kødder Now then, we thought? Who thought that there actually was not dork.

Suddenly I see all watch guys run up and asked us to "hide", running into the main building, "etc. I ran into the toilet next to the AUF-shop. The shots came closer. I was very sure that this was a "joke", but one can never be sure of anything, it's your day today proved. The second in the toilet was all to hell. Slowly but surely I managed to put the phone on silent and put it in the behåen so I would not lose it. I took the bag off and put on the floor. When I finally heard the voices of some acquaintances, I came out.

But it was not over. We had to run behind NATO's room (as it's called) and down on the corner, then to the right of the pier. We fell and stumbled through a lot of bushes and large rocks. I received many wounds. There we some 15-20 people, maybe? I was stressed out. Matti held me and reassured me.

We ran and ran. The worst was when we found out: he that shot, he was disguised as a policeman. Damn.

Who should we trust then? If we call the police - it's the guy who comes and checks or money?

But we tried to call the police! They used the damn time. So I gave my phone to Munir and asked him to update the facebook for anyone with a boat in the fjord must help us.

We ran back and forth when the shoots approached. Matti said we had to swim. But how should I handle it, never worn these boots far?

Trond Agnar suddenly appeared. He said many had tried to swim, but had swum back because it was too cold, too long, and difficult simply. But you know what? I'd rather drown than to be shot. Sorry. I took off my shirt, and with encouragement from Matti, I started to swim. It was heavy, so I had to take off my pants, too. Driitkaldt.

I swam. Matti saved me. He said the right thing and he did the right thing. He got me to swim - so far. When we had swum a piece Matti said: "Kamzy, now you do not look back. You should look straight ahead in the country side and think that it is your goal. "

"Ok" - I said. We heard shots all the time, and I'm still surprised that I or Matti was not hit.

(But, I learned later that he was there. It was therefore Matti told me to look straight ahead. He was just at the place we had just buried us. My God! And he had tried to shoot at us. We were chased)

But I swam. So there were some boats that should save us. The one boat threw lifesaving vests and had to drive on. Then came the next boat to fetch us. Even when we had reached the boat, so I could not relax. It just was not "yes, we are saved" - spirit. He can still hit us with his machine gun! I put my umiddebart on the floor of the boat. I did not feel safe. Not at all.

Some of the local residents helped us when we arrived. They gave us towels and drove us to the Esso station where police and ambulance staff waited. I was in shock. Did not pushed for a single tear. Has it not occurred to me?

Suganthan came up to me with my cell phone and was upset that it does not worked anymore. Dear Suganthan, I'm just glad you're alive!

Anniken Huitfeldt called and talked to me. I do not know whose phone it was, it was a girl who came over and said Anniken wanted to talk. AND I asked her: "Why the hell police used so long?" She agreed with it. And tried to reassure me, and asked what happened.

It was a kjempeghyggelig girl who worked there who got us clothes and hot drinks. I also called my dad. Is glad that he handles like a little more at ease - even if he was worried sick.

Also we should continue. Everyone should be on Sundvollen hotel. There, we had to register us and unite us.

We were one of the first people arrived. And so therefore, one after the other come ... hylskrikende into. I understand them very well. I just did not understand, and still do not understand why I did not get a single tear. I want out of this state of shock I'm still in. I want out of here. I sat in with Prableen and came home to my dad who was waiting for me.

For I am still in shock. Who does something like that? Pushing key buildings in Oslo and kills future Labour politicians who are on a summer camp on Utøya. What wrong have we done?!

Those who resort to violence, has run out of arguments. How could he do what he did to my AUF friends? This seems so surreal. I do not understand. I do not understand.

Recommend everyone to look at Jens Stoltenberg and Knut Storbergets press conference:

http://www.vgtv.no/ #! id = 42403

"No one should be bombing us into silence. No one will shoot us into silence "- this says Jens Stoltenberg, and I am very agree with him.

But first my mind goes out to all family members. Now is the time to fit properly on one another. Contribute and lifting each other up. Comfort each other. AND show the hottest part we humans have.

But I'm still in shock. And that is why I write this note. I can not bear to tell the story over and over again. It was in brief what happened. With me. But the fear was there all the time ... Do NOK not think I can put it into words. We also continuously hear who was shot, etc. - that I have omitted to write about. It is degrading above the relatives. They deserve better.

We deserve not to die. And it's also why I write this note. We are just normal teenagers. We are engaged in politics. We will make the world a better place - I missed the part where we becam the bad guys.

Thinking of each and every one of you who were on Utøya today

I really hope everyone is doing. You deserve better.

It was important for me to get this out. It is important.

Well if there were 600 people on such a small island it wouldn't be too hard to hit that many. Apparently he rounded them up first under the pretense of police business.

From another board:

"Around here we had something similar happen around 1985. Someone drove a truck into a restaurant in Waco and killed about 17 people with a civilian AK-47 variant. In response to that, we enacted concealed carry laws which have been wildly successful.

Now in Texas, we, who pass a stringent civil background checks and competency course on the range with targets, are licensed to carry a concealed handgun in public (in most places). Our shooting competency is more stringent than that of the cops in Texas. Our rate of violent crime has dropped amazingly since then. 400,000 people in Texas are licensed to carry a handgun. CHL hlders are convicted of committing violent crimes at 1,000 to 100 times less than non-CHL holders, because of the stringent process to weed out felons and no-good-doers from the start.

Of 400,000 Texans, someone would have possibly been around to try and stop this, or at least run to his car to prevent half the deaths from occurring.

And we are trained how to interact with law enforcement so that we aren't mixed up with the bad guys in our training. In Texas, any peace officer can tell us to do something (i.e."Protect me, shoot him!") and we cannot be held liable in a criminal or civil court for obeying an officer's commands."

It took over two hours for the cops to get to the island.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/europe/07/....

Quote:

The 700 teens and young adults attending the camp were gathered in a large meeting room where camp organizers were sharing information about the bombing in Olso when the police officer asked if he could address the group, Pracon said.

"We, of course, allowed him to come" in and address the group, Pracon said.

It was then, Pracon says, the man started shooting. What followed, Pracon says, was panic and chaos as some campers ran from the shooter, while others went towards the man because they believed it was a drill or a test. Many who fled ran toward the shore, jumping in the water to try to swim the three-fourths of a mile of water between the island and the mainland. Pracon was among those who attempted to swim, but was forced to turn back.

"I felt I couldn't breathe. I already swallowed too much water. I also jumped because I was the last person running to the shore from this man. So I didn't have time to take my clothes off. As I was swimming, I felt the clothes pulling me down because they were heavy boots, clothes," he said.

" ... I wasn't sure if I was going to make it because I was already exhausted."

Labour Party member Bjorn Jarle Roberg-Larsen told CNN that the man told campers he was there to carry out a security check.

"After just a few minutes, he took a handgun and started to shoot people," Roberg-Larsen said. "A panic broke out; people tried to hide; some jumped into the water and tried to swim ashore."

Others took shelter in caves or bushes, or climbed trees. "And he went after them," the party member said. "Unfortunately, a lot of people are wounded and also a lot of people are dead."

Pracon said the shooter chased people to the shore, screaming at them as he fired at them.

Pracon was lying on the shore when the gunmen opened fire at those in the water and on the shore.

"I was maybe 5, maybe 7 meters away from him as he was yelling he was going to kill you all and we all shall die. He pointed his gun at me, but he didn't pull the trigger," Pracon said.

"He left and returned maybe an hour later ... he shot almost everyone. Me and two others were laying down and survived because of the bodies we could hang on to and pretend that we are dead."

I wonder what new laws we have to look forward to here from our tyrants due to this tragedy...
