More, but only because my income has dramatically risen. My savings/investments as a portion of income is also rising dramatically.

Going to be spending about the same. I have a budget and we stick to the budget. Still planning on taking our vacations until we can't or just don't won't to anymore. We don't owe anyone anything.

my monthly average has been stable for the past few months, and I'm going to spending less in reoccurring expenses, but more long term investments (buying a used car, moving, etc) will bring the overall averages up

I initially put down more but now I'm wondering if it won't just be the same. I've spent about a third of my income on health care expenses in the last year. In the coming year I'll be moving to Canada, and that whole process is not cheap.

Probably more, but it'll mainly be things we really need and only because income has gone up.

More! Going to go on a home improvement spree. Big brother is living with me due to health reasons and will have major surgery in three weeks. I'm doing a series of home improvements to make life easier. Ripping up carpet to lay laminate flooring, getting a lift chair, etc.

P.S. Words to the wise: If you are middle-aged or older, you might consider adding wheelchair access to your house. You don't know when you might need it, and if you get confined to a wheelchair yourself it does make life easier. Plus, furniture moving is a lot easier - no steps!

Can I has ur stuff?

I'll be spending more for a combination of reasons... one, basic living costs as Starving mentioned; two, business is looking significantly better for me this year as opposed to last year; and three, all the preps I will need to make to zombie-proof for the short term and GTFO of Dodge (aka USSA) in the medium term.

I keep aiming to spend less, but **** keeps breaking. Luckily, for the moment my income is higher (whether it will remain so through the next 6 months is a little uncertain.)

We, in the ages lying, In the buried past of the earth,
Built Nineveh with our sighing, And Babel itself with our mirth;
And o'erthrew them with prophesying, To the old of the new world's worth
Each age is a dream that is dying, Or one that is coming to birth.
