It has been beautiful here on Long Island. A whole week of 60 degrees. Today...not so much...mid 40's at best.

This weekend 60's again. After filling my home oil tank once already....BRING ON THE WARM WEATHER!!!!

Anecdotally speaking here in northern VT it's been VERY mild. We didn't turn the furnace on until Nov 18, the latest we ever did it (every year we see how long we can hold out for, just using the woodstove if anything LOL).

It was 57 degrees yesterday.

Lolz.

My boi emailed me from Montreal for the preemptory Xmas foolishness planning. He told me it was 10C and no snow. I told him it was 70 here, and I was out stacking and splitting in a wife-beater and assless chaps (New York style, or would that be San Fran ?)

Cold and dry here in Tahoe.

We had ~5ft of snow last year by this time. Almost nothing on the ground this season so far.

We're having our first real cold snap of the year, now. It was 22 when I got up this morning, and tomorrow's low will be in the high teens. But the sun is managing to push the high into the 40s, so still not a real wintry feel, yet. Sunny and 40 still lets you get some decent work done...

Last year was a record snowfall in Tahoe/Sierras, with unusually strong early-season storms. Deepest snowpack in a long time. Like comparing cherries to strawberries.
Speaking of which, I thought cherry-picking data was beneath tf'ers.
Well, enjoy your bings anyways.
