The easier question to ask is:

"What is China NOT building?..."

Those are bombing ranges. The Grid is urban, the Runway looking things are actually aircraft carriers (can you guess which nationality they resemble?) and the circle is a for weapons testing. No story really. Except that the Carriers resemble US Navy Supercariers

However that huge third building almost resembles some sort of fusion reactor experiment. Nothing nuclear would ever need to be that big. That is about the right sort of configuration. That is a very impressive structure! At the time of the photo it definately wasn't online

The blue pools look to be where a lake was, pull out in map view, and they are pumping up subterranean water to pipe out. Cooling towers for the local power plant - these are all over the country.

Upper Left hand corner looks frozen and they cut rectangular openings into the ice.

Or they could be collecting salt or minerals from the water.
