"Parts is parts," eh. A lot of it starts to look the same after hitting back several bottles of sake, so, yeah, could be....

I just want to know how the immigration guy even noticed it. It's not like you had to give up your fingerprints to get into the U.S. in those days.

His no-missing-fingers-but-also-a-sushi-chef traveling companion (also not an American) vouched for him at the border, which I can't imagine flies these days.

7 days of food....really?

I'd say that probably more than 90% of US households have over 7 days of food.

Hell around 30% of the population has over a year's worth of nourishment right on their own asses...

Actually, missing fingers can indicate that someone belongs to the Yakuza. Yakuza are Japanese organized crime groups. In the Yakuza, if you goof up badly enough, you're expected to cut off part or all of your little finger and give it to your superior.

Yakuza are extremely dangerous, even compared to most other types of organized crime. These are some of the last people you want to enter the United States.

If someone presents themselves at a port of entry and has an obvious sign that they are likely to be a member of an organization this dangerous, it seems reasonable to me to investigate to determine whether or not this is the case.

Was your username chosen to indicate that you've got two Yakuza strikes against you? smiley

Just days after appearing on the National Geographic TV Show Doomsday Prepper, a prepper from Tennessee has been declared Mentally Defective and his guns have been seized by the government. The Prepper, David Sarti is a character to say the least, but his story is somewhat disturbing and should be a wake up call for everyone.

Personally I think these shows are designed to make these people look crazy. Whether his appearance on the show played into Mr. Sarti’s diagnosis isn’t yet clear, but apparently the State believed he was a danger to himself after a local doctor insisted that Mr. Sarti was suicidal.

Mr. Sarti denies the charges and insists that he told the doctor he was a Christian and his belief made it impossible for him to commit suicide.

The State of Tennessee and a Cardiologist have ended the need for me to prep.

To a person of my political beliefs this might as well be a life in prison sentence. I can now no longer work with the schools or target practice with my guns (one of the few sports I could still do) Therefore
Prepping for me has come to a end, as everyone knows there is no since putting up food and other things without a means to defend them. I CAN NOT AFFORD an attorney and the only person who can expunge the record wont (the Governor of Tennessee) I do not know when or if I will be able to return at this time. For the record the doctor/ prick who raped me is Andre C. Olivier, M.D. http://www.sths.com/cardiac/drinfo.php?i....

We should declare every single fukking person with a DNR mentally defective and lock them the **** up. Or any one that refuses invasive medical procedures a wack job. Have cancer and had enough kemo and think its just time to make the choice to go. Sorry. **** you, you are suicidal. Lock your ass up

Have breast cancer and refuse removal surgery. Sorry you're a wack job. Attn all cops, go and toss that dumb bitch's house, and into the loony bin she goes.

Low you need a better argument than the DNR. A DNR is a Do not resuscitate. Meaning, they died. Someone still alive that wants to commit suicide... well is still alive. smiley

We get your point, just stating the obvious because the argument would never really work with the American Idol watching public.

25 lbs of flour for $10 and 40 lbs of sugar for $17.

That's just two that stick out in my mind. Found a BIG discount grocery store about 45 minutes away that sells institutional size stuff (cans only by the case, etc.)

Love that store. May not have a huge selection, but my god the prices are good.

Thick cut Bacon for less than $1.50/lb.

Well, lets put it this way. For ~$500 we TOTALLY filled the trunk and backseat of the car. Try that at your local grocery store. :P
