FFS man. We DO have a constitution. It was a big ****ing deal bringing it "home" from the UK after 130 years of being a Dominion. It actually got a LOT of criminals off charges in the 90's because it specified the right to a speedy trial and well, the criminal element wasn't getting their day in court the day after they got charged. So they got off.

Of course , otherwise, it's not worth what it's written on and gets violated and ignored just like, umm, hmmm, oh ya, the US CONSTITUTION.

So we're more alike than we'll ever realize :)

And our courts create and destroy rights anytime they feel like it. They don't even need popular majority to do so.

There is no equivalent to the US Second Amendment in Canada.

Nor is there an equivalent to the US Fourth and Fifth Amendments and no First Amendment freedom of speech or religeon either.
