Jimpad, agreed whole-heartedly.
I love having an easy-to-reference list of companies I should and will boycott.
****'em. ****'em ALL. That ****ing SLUT is the perfect birth control herself - looking at THAT face, then listening to her BS rants, and thinking about her femi-NAZI background.
The list of those who deserve to be FIRST against the wall is too long to keep track of any longer...

I just cancelled a $42,000 contract renewal with Citrix today. I'm expecting a call from a big wig tomorrow and I'll tell them why.

"colleges and universities mandate health insurance coverage or you don't get in. Period. You can't tell them you will fund it out of pocket. If you don't have coverage for your kid you must purchase it through the school. Show them proof of insurance or purchase it through them or you don't get in"
I don't see how this is true that you HAVE to purchase insurance through the school if you aren't on your parent's policy. Ever heard of ehealthinsurance.com? Go on there and buy your own individual policy. My son goes to the University of Houston and has his own individual policy (we are self employed and so we buy different individual policies for all of us, found it was cheaper that way), and he wasn't required to even show that he had health insurance.

The funny thing about this entire debate: Pharmaceutical contraceptives need to be banned. They're polluting the water supply from the synthetic estrogen's produced in the urine of the people on them (They turn all the fish female and probably screw up humans as well). UID's are cheep, safe, and frankly 100 times cheaper than the pill a day method. Even better UID's don't play games with a woman's reproductive system and are much better for the users.

Only thing worse than internet tough guys is internet tough guys with the intellect of a neanderthal. Is the "slut" and "prostitute" stuff really necessary?
Things that I want my tax dollars going to LESS than contraceptives, and cost us all SIGNIFICANTLY more:
*Medical conditions arising from you being a fat ****. *Corn subsidies *Oil subsidies *Ethanol subsidies
These are all somewhat related, but you get the gist.
We all subsidize UNHEALTHY and COSTLY lifestyles EVERY DAY. But as long as no one is having recreational (i.e. without the intention of procreating) sex, everything is fine?

According Rush most of these advertisers are part of local spots sold by the station and not the national ones.

Probably.
We used to run advertising through our local affiliate and occasionally paid for spots to run on his show.

Quote: Investors flee Carbonite after Limbaugh announcement
On Saturday, Carbonite CEO David Friend released a statement on his company’s website declaring that Carbonite had decided to “withdraw” advertising from Rush Limbaugh’s radio show in the wake of his controversial remarks involving Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke because it will “ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse”:
Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.
However, it hasn’t done much to contribute to his company’s stock price. Since the market opened on Monday through its close today, Carbonite stock (NASDAQ:CARB) has plummeted nearly 12 percent, outpacing the drop of the NASDAQ index in that same time period by nine-and-a-half points. It was also one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ on Tuesday.

Genesis wrote..His use of the word "prostitute" and "slut" was a bad idea. That's an understatement. What El Rushbo doesn't know about women -- that the advertisers who are pulling the plug on him do know -- has to be a lot. I'm no marketing psychologist, but I'd bet a sawbuck to a doughnut that the use of those terms elicits -- on a gut level and in machine-measurable quantity -- one helluva lot bigger negative reaction in the fairer half of his sponsors' market share than he could possibly have guessed, sitting behind his golden EIB microphone and choking his chicken. Irrespective of whether or not a member of that half agrees with his point too. So now he's paying the price... Too bad... So sad... "Next!"

I really hate this forum sometimes. What cave did you crawl out of? And it is an "either or" scenario, because I don't see you attacking fat people here for being fat and costing us all a ton more than contraception would for their self-inflicted problems.

I wouldn't say slut...she's a ****ing activist who intentionally set this whole thing up and Rush was stupid enough to walk right into it.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised, that with some serious digging, someone would find her collecting checks from certain gov sources...making her, not a slut, but a *****.

Mpilar wrote... . . Rush and many others were was stupid enough to walk right into it. (added bolded text) Agreed. Slut or non-slut has ZERO to do with anything. It should be ONLY about whether or not other people should or should not pay for her expenses. The fact that, in this case, the expense is related to her BC pills is immaterial.

Quote:It should be ONLY about whether or not other people should or should not pay for her expenses. Ahhh... But here is the kicker: Most people _want_ the _state_ to steal from their neighbor and gift them property. For starters, just look at every single bureaucrat employed by the gov't. Or teachers or cops, or firemen. The list is endless

Seems OUR County Commissioners voted down, eg: Turned Down Grant Monies for this.. Commissioners vote down family planning grant.... Providing contraception for women has been a national topic for months, and now it has sparked debate in New Hanover County. Commissioners unanimously voted down a state grant that would fund contraceptive supplies and services in the county. Just like the national story, providing contraceptive healthcare to women is anything but one-sided, but commissioners all seemed to have the same mindset. Quote: "I have a fundamental philosophical issue with using tax pay dollars to fund someone's irresponsibility," said Commissioner Rick Catlin, who also serves on the county’s health board. Quote: "If these young women are being responsible and didn't have the sex to begin with, we wouldn't have this problem to begin with, but unfortunately that's the problem that we have,” Commission Chairman Ted Davis said. All five commissioners voted to turn down a nearly $9,000 state grant to help fund contraceptive supplies and medical services related to family planning. The decision did not sit well with some. (EDIT: Of course the "other" side is screaming **Gender-Bias** now (end edit) Quote: "I think it's outrageous that an all male panel have declared women who are taking responsibility for their basic health care, which includes contraception, that that would be irresponsible," said Melissa Reed, a spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood. (EDIT: More like add $$$ to her Job Security. End Edit) "They should be trying to legislate to protect women's health rather than trying to legislate morality," said Han Hills, a pro-choice advocate and president of Humanists and Free Thinkers of Cape Fear. "That's not what they're there for." After thinking it through, one commissioner says he regrets his vote. "I'm one of those abstinence guys, so I agree with those comments," Commissioner Jonathan Barfield said during Monday's meeting. Barfield says he realized his mistake after talking with his wife. "Her first question was, 'What were you thinking?' and we started walking through and talking about this discussion," Barfield said. "She brought up some very valid points that if someone is seeking contraception, it shows that they are being responsible." (EDIT: does it really? end edit) http://www.wwaytv3.com/2012/03/12/commis....
