That's what I was thinking, Eighty6thebs. But I did some digging around and apparently Siemens has used this phrase as well. Maybe it's a German thing. Now I'm wondering why wouldn't they write "taxes" instead of "income taxes."

The translation errors I encounter when looking at Chinese stocks attempting to produce English financial reports listed in the US are amazing. You'd think they would be willing to invest a few bucks in a decent translator so their reports didn't look amateurish.
