At first I thought this was just another one of 'those videos'....you know, another one about the Federal Reserve, Jekyll Island, evil Joos, etc. Uh...no. This video examines history MUCH further back and when it comes to history, specifically American history, I'm no slouch. This film taught me things of which I had NO IDEA. It's hard to stun me with anything regarding the depths of economic and government corruption these days, but this one shocked me.

I cannot say that 100% of this film is accurate, but I can say that the first thing I was impressed by was that right out of the gate, it gets it right about the debt v production and its presentation of the QUANTITY or VOLUME of money in the monetary system being the key to control of governments. It was also impressive that they got the Thomas Jefferson quote RIGHT! (The one that is widely circulated alleging that TJ made a quote talking about inflation and deflation is bogus.) I also spent a bunch of time fact checking some of the other points in history with regard to certain people mentioned. The facts presented about the random people I chose, DID verify, despite picking some I thought were going to be blown out of the water.

Bottom line: This film is worth every minute of its hour and a half run time. If you THOUGHT you knew it all about how controlled we are, you still don't know the half of it.

Also, there are a number of EXCELLENT videos here. I highly recommend people see ALL of these:

Since I assume our knowledge is roughly parallel what was it that surprised you, in summary?

There were several details (some not so small!) that we hadn't put together prior to this video. It's only an hour and a half...much better to see for yourself when you can, than to read someone else's synopsis.

One of the biggest revelations for me is how very, very few people truly control the world. The same families, over and over and over again, going MUCH further back in history than I ever imagined. The same few families are so intertwined with each other, and more importantly those entities that control our lives: governments, huge international corporations and yes, the banks. The banks are behind it all, because THEY alone control the quantity of money and almost as important, whom and what to supply it to.

This film makes it personal. More than just the generality of 'controlling the money supply' - it names names and those names are not necessarily who you think they are....sure, there's some that everyone knows about, but even the infamous Rothschilds are NOT who you think they are!

The film precisely illustrates what role religion has played (and not just Jews, ALL religions), and it also highlights certain periods of history that have been literally edited out of history to distort the truth. In a number of cases the enemy is not who you think it is and your ally is also not who you think it is.

All of this is backed up with dates, names, places, quotes, writings and even interviews. Aaron Russo makes a short appearance, as does a Mr. Dodd, who was part of a Congressional investigation into tax-exempt foundations, and was interviewed years ago by G. Edward Griffin. They talk about the myriad of wars (and not just the well-known ones), there is one war I didn't even KNOW about, and they also talk about the education system.

It's like all these pieces we have had revealed over the past few years, all the little strings you didn't quite know where they led to, all are put together...and NOT in a conspiracy-sort of way (matter of fact, they debunk more than one popular conspiracy), but in a historical timeline of people, places and events. While I'm well aware correlation does not equal causation, this film goes a very long way to proving the cause of the evolution of our enslavement.

As an anecdote, the paternal side of my family goes very, very far back. There have been a number of my relatives who have traced back all the way to the origins of our surname at the time of William the Conqueror. I knew some of this history, and a little piece of it was illustrated in this film. I was rather shocked to see it. It was yet another confirmation that the maker of this film did some real research.

Yup. There was a best seller called "Superclass" that had a similar premise, tasked with answering the question, "Who controls the world?" And the author was Jewish.

You don't need to watch the whole thing - all you need to do is to repeat this from 2:40ish:

Quote:

inflation is not an increase in prices, prices are in fact a result of inflation - inflation simply being an increase in the money supply.

Allowing someone to inflate the money supply is no different than counterfeiting. It is amazing to me how simple a thing is so confusing to so many people. Keep a stable money supply and you'll have a stable economy and the banks will have to earn their money instead of printing it.

All the rest of that video is just entertainment.

Inflation, credit booms and busts, depressions, recessions - all of these existed when the money supply was only PM's. You don't even need to touch the currency of a PM money supply, and you will still get inflation via price increases, booms, busts and the like.

You guys just block these facts out of your minds, every time.

"all of these existed when the money supply was only PM's"

That is not the point - obviously during the various gold rush's, more stuff coming out of the ground means an expansion of the money supply.

The point is that you need a predictable increase (assuming the GDP grows) in money supply to maintain prices on an even keel.

Friedman spelled it all out - a $500 laptop would run the economy better than the banksters in charge now.

But they did play with the money supply. That's one of the flaws of the gold bugs that think all will be solved if we return to a gold standard. The only difference is that with a fiat currency there is a more finite control.

A lot of the source material (actual interviews) in this documentary come from 'those videos' that you're talking about, like the Aaron Russo and Norman Dodd interview.

One of the things that Dodd says that they found by looking in the Carnegie Foundation for Peace foundation minutes, that the foundation had decided that the best way to change a whole society was through war, is readily apparent if you start looking back through history.

The Spartans, before their rise to prominence, were an inconspicuous agricultural city state. But Sparta entered into a perpetual state of war after their conquest of neighboring Messenia to acquire more land to secure food resources. Their perpetual state of war against the Helots (Messenian population) precipitated the change in Spartan society into that warrior state which we are familiar with today. A perpetual state of war changed the society from an unadventurous agrarian society into the warrior state that dominated half of the Agean world for almost 400 years.

Uh, I don't block **** out of my mind. I 'get' more than just about anyone on this Forum (except Karl) the complete folly of metals-backed currency. This video has absolutely NOTHING to do with gold-backed currency, nor does it advocate for it. It talks about the QUANTITY or VOLUME of money (whatever form it takes) being controlled by a finite group of people. This is what Bill Still has talked about numerous times. The film presents a number of the same points about the monetary system that Bill did in the Money Masters, only these guys go much further into showing how that system came to be.

Widg - you might try a torrent?

Great vid steph. Brings to mind the somewhat played out quote from G. Carlin, "it's a big club and you ain't in it".

I always like to break **** down and de construct things a bit.

The one finite "thing" we all have on this big blue ball is time. Easily translated into heartbeats for us mere mortals. Some of us will be lucky and have more heartbeats to use up in our physical existence than others.

So it always seemed rather insulting that we trade heartbeats (time) for "money" which is just paper. Paper that can be toyed with, ****ed with, made more or less valuable by a very few people. If that is not the definition of enslavement then I do not know what is.

They really pull out the stops in the last 1/3 of the documentary. I already had been exposed to what they said, but I had to read or watch a couple of dozen histories and documentaries in the past in order to piece all of that together. They even got into the kabbalah for a little bit.

They really did try and put everything together in one documentary.

I was extremely surprised when the video went into some brief detail about the "Star of David", and how it's not even a symbol of Judaism at all, but rather, a Kabbalah symbol.

But it doesn't really go far enough back.

The "Star of David" was previously known under Kabbalah as the "Seal of Solomon", and before that was known as the Star of Remphan, or Moloch, a god to which the Israelites sacrificed their infants by burning them alive.

Acts 7:43
"and ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan -- the figures that ye made to bow before them, and I will remove your dwelling beyond Babylon."

I'll watch
also worthwhile reading hypertigers 1st blog post in 2006 they knew crash was immenent
http://hypertiger.blogspot.com/search?up....

wow from one of the many posts in 2008 this quote
A house is for the protection of a Family unit not a speculative get rich quick scheme or an ATM equity withdrawal machine.

Mortgage rates would have to drop below 4% which would equal a FED rate of .10% or so and again you need volume. Rates crashed in Japan in search of volume over 10 years ago and none was found to this day because rates need to drop below zero...If you produce a product for $10 and can only sell for $9 you are doomed. If the required amount of volume to liquify the system exists below the zero rate barrier you are doomed.

The FED provides liquidity at the request of consumers and to maintain/service liquidity volume is needed...No volume no miracle.

The top of the economic food chain has to eat...zero prime rate = zero prime rib...

In the system the top owns the bottom and if the top needs to eat it has to liquidate the bottom...In order for the bottom to eat it must liquidate the top...The TOP controls the Police and Military unfortunately.

So now we will see what the plan is. The Homeland Emergency Government in waiting and the U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. LAW or Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism is a sign that the bottom won't be liquidating the top when the system implodes." Hyper knew this **** was coming down
