Prices were pushing $4.40 on Highway 2 here in WA over the weekend. Spendy weekend if you put a boat or some skis in the water...

It went down here (Pittsburgh, PA - Western PA). I can't remember if it is 3.79 or 3.69. It was 3.99 for a little while, then dropped. I was shocked what it was in Chicago area- it was above 4.00 (I was there for a day or two a few weeks ago).

5.549 for 94 octane on the way out to racing in Sunol saturday morning, but that's my own fault. Glad I'm not tuned for 100.

Resistance, where on Hwy 2? I grew up in Leavenworth and would hate to see gas prices in that area now...they were always .15-.20 more than Wenatchee down the road.

I just filled up at Costco on Fri for $3.26...some things I don't miss about living in the Cascades :)

We screwed up one of our refineries a few months ago (fire), so that is a big part of the supply problem here. I'm sure CA and WA prices have many taxes included also.

I haven't seen it less than $4.35 for regular here for weeks.

Lump I'm not sure I buy that. Gas prices here spiked when there was a spill in the gulf too.

Oh, and I can drive 300 miles to Spokane and buy the same gas for $1/gal less (after it gets a truck ride).

This map on Gas Buddy is pretty interesting, a nice color coded nationwide visual of who is getting screwed the worst (Left Coast)

I went as far up the pass as Skykomish on Monday, and all of the stations were >$4.35... I can only imagine what the stations from Wenatchee to Chelan were charging!

I'll take the under Dakine. We are at ~$3.89 here in Queens, NY, though I do not buy gas and do not see many gas stations frequently, so that price could be unrepresentative and/or stale.

What the **** are you people still doing living on the left coast? I'd figure some of you would have had the sense to leave by now.

It's only going to get worse from here for you. Buckle up. Well, at least the weather's nice, right?

The (somewhat) offsetting factor here in WA is that there is no state income tax.
