Note the EPA won't comment, but the ethanol association sounds like they run the EPA:

"We are going to maintain your blending obligation on the gallons that we think are going to emerge."

I assume the ethanol council has been investing in this phantom substance.

On the other hand, maybe a sinkhole will emerge under that bend in the Potomac River and suck the entire ungodly stinking mess on its banks down onto the bottom of a newly-formed 500-foot deep lake.
