I know how they're doing it but it still amazes me when I see what today's digital television technology can do. A rare pleasure today, as a senior, is finding and then having discussions with informed and intelligent young people. So far I haven't seen one young person on RT who is otherwise. Even though Alyona openly described herself as left leaning, as are many of them, in the Brian Lamb CSpan interview, you would never know it most of the time. When guests on both the left and right express their opinions, they are always respected. No righteous indignation from either side. Guests on the right have also been excellent. To date I haven't found a single guest, including those on Alyona's "happy hour" who was offensive whereas on our MSM I find almost everyone offensive. Whoever does the producing and hiring there is doing a great job. I believe that is Dmitri for Capital Account and Jenny Churchill for the Alyona Show. 2012-06-30 11:07:17 Permalink

Karl -- looking fit, trim, and sounding confident, assured. A home run. As for Lauren Lyster, yes she's pretty, but let's forget that for a moment. She asked more intelligent questions in one interview than all of the CNBC bimbos combined in their careers. You could tell she wasn't merely using hot-button terminology in order to sound like she understood the issues, as the CNBC clowns do. She seemed to really grasp the material. Even on the few questions where she didn't seem to grasp the underlying truth, I think she did. But she was merely throwing out intentional softballs that she knew Karl would bat out of the park. Maria Bartiroma, the departed Erin Burnett ... none of them are in Lauren's league. She's too smart for CNBC, so she'll never have a job there, that's for sure. ---------- Don't forget: Panic is also an animal spirit, and it spreads much faster than optimism.
