Someone should tell this affirmative-action ditz that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms isn't "granted" by the Constitution, but rather is described in the Declaration of Independence, and in the papers of the Founding Fathers, who gained their extensive knowledge of these things by actually reading and learning, instead of being handed a spurious document "attesting" to their education...

Why do you hate children??

I was watching the beginning of Barbarella the other day with Jane Fonda from around 1968 or so. The premise was that a rogue agent had plans to develop a "weapon" and it might be used. The known planets had been weapon-free for 300 years since being unified under the current socialist government. Fonda's character exclaimed, "How barbaric!" when she contemplated how people could possibly own and use a weapon.

The subtext is pretty clear, even if it seemed too far-fetched to audiences back then.

Every time I run into a gun debate I point out the following: Japan has no guns and almost no violence. Switzerland has a machine gun in every house and almost no violence. Violence is not caused by firearms(It's impossible to argue after reviewing these 2 countries). Rather it's caused by stupid, evil, or screwed up groups of people. The only people who want guns eliminated are people who want to make sure they can act as tyrants without having to fear and armed american populace.

I've never actually seen Barbarella, just ogled the various semi-clothed pictures of Jane Fondle in it, over the years.

I actually feel better after I learned that "Professor" Melynda Price makes about $60 an hour plus benefits for knowing nothing.

Man, did I go into the wrong field in college.

Jane Fonda is a **** of the highest magnitude. Look up her vietnam record.

And when Melynda gets her way she'll beg for armed guards to protect her.
