What is the difference between "for profit" colleges and the rest of them both "public" colleges and private ones?

How about law schools ?

Yeah, I'd like to know the answer to that too. What is the difference between some tech for profit school & a private school with a couple billion in endowments?

It's a canard. There is no difference. State schools promote Stafford loans just as much as the private schools.

I've heard some people claim they failed entrance tests, had admissions people give them the answers and then they got their loans and into what ever study they wanted.

Not at the bigger ones like Phoenix though, just small ones.

Lets assume that is true, So what is wrong with that ? Cheating is a Feature of public K-12 education. You can even win $ and awards for doing it.

Rules for one and not the other is not a rule at all.
