I don't have any idea if 80 cracks before Friday, or if it cracks at all.

This is very difficult to forecast. But - you better be prepared if it does, because that is a ****storm that you won't be able to trade into - you're either prepared or you're not as the violence level will astound even those who have been at this for a loooong time.

Guess we were all invincible back then. I lost my left ACL by cranking down my bindings. Now I ski blacks but leave the bumps to my kids.

bout 10 years back, i caught an edge running about 60. i recovered, but if i hadn't i would have plowed into a 6ft oaktree trunk. i just turned straight down wearing soloman equipe's 205. that changed my whole approach to skiing. sony bono did the same thing, but didn't recover. seems as if i think about things a lot more than i use to. its way past a wonder i lived to 25. another old hobby of mine was playing dare jumping from bridges.

its coming under pressure here again, been under 40 most of the day...

Will he wait until it breaches 80? Will he wait for a close under 80? If $$ start getting repatriated won't it be harder to stop once it picks up momentum?

Right at or just under 80. He is NOT going to do it unless he thinks he has no choice. If he sees big repatriation start he'll do it instantly - you can bet him and Paulson have a REALLY GOOD finger on that pulse.

Where do you go online to make the trades?

Are they mainly for placing your dollars into other currencies such as Euro's ot Yuan etc. or can you put your dollars into gold or silver?

Everybody got really quiet with the huge overnight rally!

I heard that commercial FX traders (those who buy currencies on behalf of commodities companies) were heavily betting that the dollar would be defended. The strong action last night seems to support that at least in the short term. I'd say we have another couple weeks of consolidation before the trend sets back in.

Yeah, but the bad news on this is that the carry trade looks threatened now.

The price of defense may be a huge unwinding in the investment space.
