Driving around a bit today and noticing the standard lawn signs for candidates. Was wondering about some FedUp.com signs. Gather up some donations and make them available free (or with suggested donation) through the web site.

I assume they can be rolled poster style and sent for a few $s via USPS.

Imaging thousands of them on lawns and on highways *next to* McCain/Obama signs throughout the county. Self-advertising... talk about viral.

I'll work on adding them to the CafePress store.

Looks like they call it a yard sign. Would it be possible to make them free through the web site (ask for a suggested donation) and pay for them from a fund? From what I can tell CafePress is charging in the $15 area. I bet we could get them done cheaper in bulk but I guess someone would need to put a lot of effort into sending them out. I don't know it we can get into the thousands if people have to pay that much for each one. Always comes down to money smiley

Forget CafePress for the yard sign. No matter how large I make the image, they center it and shrink it so it's unreadable.

I like the idea of bumper stickers or a car magnet too (in addition to lawn signs). For anyone who lives on a cul-de-sac, the law sign only reaches the 10 families nearby but a car magnet or bumper sticker can be seen by many more.

I made an oval sticker...will work on a bumper sticker next.

Edit: Same issue as the yard signs. Too much white space, no option to increase the size of the graphic.

Stickerguy is THE MAN for stickers, but there is a problem, and its leadtime.

No, on cost he's a HUGE win, assuming you want a bunch.

Nobody touches him on what others consider "Short Run" work.
