We have gotten a gracious offer of help from someone who can sort this mess out. However, RJ is out working at the moment. So, it will be a few hours. The site is not fully restored, but it should be later this afternoon. We think we have finally addressed the root of the problem - and it seems to have been that we cannot run two instances of WordPress on the same server. (Thus we've had some periods of being down because the server gets overloaded.) Host is trying to push us into an allocated server, but the price is out of our reach right now.
