Even more put action though...

Looks like a buy on both legs to me (no point to a vertical with that other one being that far out of the money) and likely a bet on a rate cut.

Not today though - not a prayer in hell with the economic data that is on the table. Maybe a bet on the Fed meeting.

Not that many contracts either..... 1500?

I bet that one turns out rather poorly.

no, today's xlf options weighted heavily to calls side. Also, IMB has a large straddle going on the 25's. WM 35 calls have decent vol too. Looks like alot of people are banking on huge pops in these beaten down stocks soon.

My volume numbers must be totally ****ed up - I see basically nothing!

There's bad data out there guys. Not sure who's got the right numbers - ETrade is showing a ****load, TOS nothing.

These could be closeouts on those CALLs - not necessarily purchases. If someone thinks the market is going down the ****ter, they'd bail.

Whoops my bad. I was looking at the wrong number (*******!).

Its 12.6K for the 33's and 3.3K for the 35's

So these numbers agree with Yal.
