Terrific forum. Genesis, I really appreciate the time you put in here. Your experience, candor and hands on participation make this site just about the best interactive place I've found in this genere.

I have several questions. To start, what makes a drop below 80 the point at where the dollar collapses or semi collapses? Perhaps you're not implying a collapse but, semantics aside, isn't that what you are getting at here? Also, why would there be a run on the banks if we breach this number? Why can't 75, 65, 55 be the point of the great unwind? Is there a technical reason, above and beyond what you've laid out here, which reinforces your not too sanguine views relative to this critical breach point? In short is there any chance for a collective yawn when and if the breach happens?

Anyone else is free to jump in with their two cents. Thanks.
