Property taxes are what you pay to get closer to the troughs from which digital money pours. NJ is closer.
It's the local school systems in NJ. There are a few towns that don't have high schools, but have high value homes (400k - over 1 Million). They have property taxes in the 5-8k range despite how much more their homes cost.
