Yeah, I have a "mosquito eater" (a CO2 generator that laces the effluent with octenol, which attracts them and then sucks them into a bag where they die from dehydration) and it works very well to collapse the breeding sources around your property (coverage for the unit is about an acre) but there are still some bites as there is some carry-through from other properties.

This summer down here is going to be bad news -- we've had a very warm winter, with no real freezes at all, and that is rather foreboding for the summer months in terms of bugs.
