Well duh. http://en.rian.ru/world/20120306/1717905.... Quote:The Russian president is unlikely to attend a NATO summit in Chicago if the missile defense issue is not on its agenda, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Tuesday. Doesn't look good. http://en.rian.ru/world/20120307/1718616.... Quote:The United States indicated on Wednesday that it still expects Russia to cooperate on the missile defense issue but that the plan will go ahead anyway. Aka do what we say or else. Me thinks following NATO continuing BS on the missile shield issue and the whole ``Georgia into NATO`` issue, Putin is gonna announce the deployment of missiles in Kaliningrad in late may/early June... probably also the withdrawal from many nuclear/missile treaties. They will also go for more warheads per missiles. Back in the day, the Russians had developed missiles with 30-40 nuclear warheads each. Wouldn't surprise me if they bring those back. That would protect them from the missile shield and a first strike cheaply. And if you don't understand Russia's paranoia to NATO... understand how crazy our ``leaders`` have been so far... they wouldn't be above attacking Russia when they believe the missile shield is ``good enough``. Also, last time Russia ``trusted`` someone who didn't like them (Nazi Germany), they nearly got wiped off the map. They don't want to do the same mistake again. | |||
