I think once you get past the Ayn Rand part of the series it really takes off!!! I do believe the ideas of Rand do represent a meme of the time well, but she is a small part in this documentary. |
Much of Adam Curtis' work is related and other documentaries you watch of his will help fill in some more of the picture he tries to create. I cannot say I agree with all he presents and a good part of it is also so new to me I am forming opinions. I will say, though, that of all of the many documentaries I have seen these are by far the most enthralling I have ever seen. I do not think one can go wrong by at least considering the ideas he presents.
Don't let this one pass you by guys. It's worth the time to watch.
