When the leeches in any society begin to outnumber the producers - it's damn hard to stop the momentum leading to a full-on collapse. Some things must be assumed so that self-protective measures can be sought out and put into action. A good friend who is no longer with us once told me the time would come when we would have to step over the casualties and not look back in order to save ourselves. He was right. The sign of the times seems to indicate that we've arrived. But it's a damn hard reality to accept. 2012-05-30 19:27:36
