Mtgspy, You DON'T see FNM as a zero? I've been thinking for a while that the pigmen will gut FNM for all of the mountains of foreclosures. Think about it, that mountain is the ONE THING that is big enough to actually save the system! All they have to do is engineer a general bond collapse, create some kind of a panic surrounding the GSE's and then offer to come n and "save them" with a BSC-style rescue package and the Fed's stamp of approval. FNM shareholders get dick and the IB's wind up with all of the debt for 10 cents on the dollar. Bingo! System Saved! And this actually supports the MCSC theory in important ways. The IB's can literally sell all of the RE back to the peeps for 20 cents on the dollar and still make freakin' killing. Everybody wins...sort of. BTW, what the heck do you mean by "My boss fought the Pigmen, and guess what? He DIED." ?!?!?!? 2008-04-28 19:15:15
