In the REALLY scary scenario that is now being made possible, the things of real value will be those things you can eat or use to make you warm. Basic tools will have value. Long on beans and rice isn't crazy anymore, imo. I'm always going to have some gold and silver lying around. But it is no longer an investment position. 2007-12-01 19:07:25
