I have 2 cards with Cap One (also own puts) and both cards for the last 2 months have had late fees. I'm not paying them late, they are processing them late. They are doing whatever they can to generate fees. All 4 instances in the last 2 months are the same. Payment due on the 7th gets processed on the 8th. Payment due on the 21st (Friday) gets processed on the 24th. I only owe 500 on each and keep them for credit score purposes. I'm almost tempted to let them charge it off and avoid the fees altogether.
