The real 1-yr horizon trade on wamu is buy protection and long stock. The bond guys are behind this time because lack of mortgage knowledge- the surprise later will take the spread 4 digits up, but the stock wont go BK due to Etrade-style takeover by someone with money in there - guess it from the HDS screen in BB.
