Sharp: signed on just to say thanks for your incisive well thought out analysis. Your argument says it all. One only has to look at the amount of $ disappearing from balance sheets to see deflation coming... you have done a great job of supporting KD's take. (Which BTW is a restatement of LaRouches early prediction, no small irony there) Kudos, KD for having the balls to say it like its gonna be. The only problem I see on this forum is that people are still betting the system itself will still function. But since the core of the problem is derivatives, when they collapse, there may not be any discrimination. Futures are likely to freeze up along with every other derivative, at least for the time being. Good advice i have heard: Treasuries should be with treasury direct rather than in the street name, thru a broker. Have some funds on hand. Hope that everyone who is fortunate enough to be privy to the information on this board realizes that it is time to pull in your horns a bit when the entire system itself is about to undergo drastic changes. 2007-12-02 04:31:33
