I've just opened a new topic (see above) to ask whether US inflationary and deflationary factors may tend to balance out. Like yourself, I'm waiting to see if someone thinks they have the answer to the big-picture question. And in any case, I guess there's different types of balance: an empty seesaw is not the same as a seesaw with an elephant at each end, especially if one of them decides to get off. 2007-12-02 06:40:55
