The GDP of the USA is 3.5 times our closest competitor (Japan) and 10 times most european countries GDP. Only the combined EU has more GDP, and the EU is not soverign, but more like a club. With the current exchange rate of the euro being $1.45 to USD, this has got to crush their nuts on all their exports, not just to the US but to other countries as well. They will have to inflate their money supply and that will cause the the dollar to strengthen. What does inflation look like overseas? 2007-12-02 12:34:06
