I could list hundreds or maybe even thousands of things that _might_ spend, but the winning answer is as you say, what WILL spend. biotech, solar, nanotech, recycling, alt-energy, robotics, water treatment, desalinization, a global race to mars (to replace wars), astronauts = the new gladiators - the new wild, west... nationalization, no, globalization of the banking industry, where cash money is treated like the every day commodity it really is, where money is not something you want to accumulate because there's just no money in money, the entire banking industry turned in to a 1% transaction fee machine, nothing more, surpluses to charity. it is interesting to note that a few outspoken 'tree-hugger' types are labeled lunatics for depopulation ideology yet societies deeds and actions through war and resource hoarding agrees with the lunatic point.
