SOunds like they're adopting the solution that Canadian banks did in the 1970s. The 40 year term is interesting. Guess we are about to get multi-generational mortgages like they had/have in Japan. Wonder if the 7 year term is due to matching their own funding, or due to a macroeconomic view on inflation? Probably the former. 2007-12-02 14:04:49
