I am not going to speculate weather they can make it happen or not, but they sure will have a cleaner set of books by the end of the year. Many banks will fail but it might be possible to get money moving again and avoid a global collapse. Remember too that the overseas banks are in a worse shape than ours and will be similarly motivated. Maybe not 'fair' because the loans originated in the US, but fair doesn't have anything to do with it. 2007-12-02 15:45:28
