Shoobedoowa, interesting article. Indicates the need to be careful on the short side. I'd rather risk less money and make less money than risk much money and lose it all. Having said that, if 2009 is when a lot of ships are coming on line, I would expect stocks to collapse before the start of 2009. BTW, does anyone know the state of port congestion? I was reading somewhere that a significant reason rates are so high is because ships are spending a lot of time waiting for ports to load/unload as ports are capacity constrained. If extra port capacity is also coming online in 2008/2009, the shippers will get absolutely murdered. 2007-12-02 19:00:40
