Personally i was VERY surprised at how long it took for the housing situation to start going down the tubes. Now we've come to find out that it was running on FUMES for nearly 2 years that were created by bizzarre securities coupled with toxic lending practices. Now its taking an incredibly long time for the virus to spread. But that doesnt appear ANY less inevitable than the housing downturn.
