Sandra - again, inventory. They only want to give away as much inventory to cover what they THINK they won't sell. That's a moving target right now. IF they COULD sell it for a small discount or full price, they will...but with time running out, they are going to give it away....quietly....and only in increments as they see they need to. If they advertised a sale, they'd be giving away the whole store to everyone. When a sale is advertised it is to EVERYONE - they can't discriminate. If they DON'T advertise, they can pick say, 20 people to give purses away to based on inventory numbers. Then they can stop for the day.
