You know what is even more sad - the story of that small town in Norway who got scammed into buying Citi SIV toxic waste: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/02/world/.... What is absolutely FLABBERGASTING is how this brokerage firm actually recommended they BORROW money with futures from their hydroelectric plant as collateral to invest in toxic waste.
