A classic example of this phenomena was thursday afternoon after the market closed. The SP looked like it was on the verge of falling off a cliff and magically we got some stupid news story that some FED muckity muck was open to lowering rates. Futures jumped 10 and by Friday morning we were up 20. I would suggest that all of the news will be bullish until we hit 1617. 2007-12-01 10:46:02
