The problem is the banks never got out of bankruptcy in the 90s. First the reserve requirements were dropped to almost zero, and then the use of off the books assets (not sure of the history). Without all the governments tinkering we should still be muddling our way out of the recession of 90. So here we are. 2007-12-01 11:04:47
